Innovating Marine Energy Solutions

A student-led project team at Cornell University developing sustainable marine energy solutions

Our Subteams

Four specialized teams working together to advance marine energy technology

Chemicals and Materials

The Chemicals and Materials Subteam explores the materials, chemical processes, and technologies that enable CSalt’s systems. Through research and experimentation, the team develops and evaluates innovative materials and chemical solutions to improve the performance, efficiency, durability, and sustainability across a range of projects.

Mechanical

The Mechanical Subteam focuses on designing and building the physical components of our hydropower system. From wave energy harnessing mechanisms to structural frameworks, this team ensure the system operates efficiently and reliably

Business

The Business Subteam manages project funding, sponsorships, and outreach efforts. They develop strategies to secure resources, maintain partnerships, and communicate the team's vision to stakeholders.

Community Connections

The Community Connections Subteam bridges the gap between the project and the public. They focus on education, outreach, and collaboration with communities to raise awareness about innovative hydropower solutions.
